you can donate and help Future Generations

Welcome to 2023, the most exciting year in homeschooling yet. For many years, around three percent of Americans chose to homeschool their kids, and then the pandemic hit. U.S. Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey found that in April 2020, 5.4% of Americans homeschooled their kids. By September of that year, the number was 11.1%. While we don't have numbers for 2022, we've seen no signs that this trend is reversing.

So what does that mean for an organization like the Indiana Foundation for Homeschooling?

It means our work is now more critical than ever. Families are wading into homeschooling, and our organization is a needed friend to parents and students adjusting to a new reality.
